The Forest House
Concept Design Stage
The site sit behind a nature reserve. The design is inspired by it's picturesque setting, creating a sense of serenity. The space is design to take in the spectacular surrounding, with the movement between the spaces feels like taking a stroll in the forest. With a slightly raised Ground floor, and sunken Lower level, a sunken private courtyard is created, which enables both levels to enjoy the views while retaining privacy, connecting the inhabitants with nature.

WHO WE ARE
.jpg)
We are a small suburban architecture and interior design studio that delivers big city quality. Our home is in Glen Iris, 12km east of Melbourne CBD. We are passionate about architecture and have done it most of our lives.
We specialise in solving “unsolvable” problems. We have broad range of experience from urban master planning, horse training facilities, wineries to renovations, extensions and bespoke residences.
We are constantly learning and pushing ourselves, using state of the art BIM software to work out the problems long before construction starts, which reduces the projects risk and result in better and more efficient design.
We don’t have a set style in our design approach, and central to our design strategy is to listen, ask and collaborate with client; exploring opportunities and possibilities, making visionary project a reality.
We are just as happy to work with clients with small budgets as with those clients with… well, not so small budgets. Give us a call today to discuss your project, if we can’t help, we will direct you to someone who can!
